2007 Hairstyles - The Jump On The New Fashions

FashionThe 2007 hairstyle that many women will be seen wearing is very loose and sexy waves. We can finally say goodbye to the flat, perfectly straight styles of the last few years and welcome a bouncier, sexier hairstyle.

Loose waves are often worn with long hair, but medium and short haired girls will also be able to style their tresses into the wavy trend of the year without having to grow their hair out first.

One of the reasons for the increasing popularity of the free and flowing waves is because the style is considered a "young girl" look. Who doesn't want to look younger?

Happy Thai New Year With Song Kran Festival

EntertainmentThe Thai New Year, known as Songkran, is one of the most important and celebrated holidays in Thailand. The holiday is officially celebrated from April 13 to 15, with festivities often lasting an entire week.

The origins of Thai New Year combine Buddhist belief, ancient astrology and the solar calendar.

"Songkran" is a Thai word which means "move" or "change place". It refers to the shift of the sun's position in the zodiac, from Pisces to Aries, beginning a new astrological year.

Foreign investors in Thailand seek business act clarification

General NewsForeign investors in Thailand have sought clarification on the need to amend the kingdom's Foreign Business Law, saying they feared it would undermine investor confidence and discourage foreign capital inflows.

They made the move at a seminar on " Public Participation: Foreign Business Bill" jointly organized by the National Economic and Social Advisory Council and the Joint Private-Sector Committee to heed opinions by many parties.

Stephen Frost, a board member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok, said foreign investors had respected Thailand's sovereignty in amending laws governing the supervision of foreign investors investing in the country.

3 days Holiday, Where We Go

Thai TravelWe had some free time. The question is then, where to go, what is not too expensive and not to far. We both work in the greater Bangkok area.

First we had plans for Koh Samui, sure it is great but with the storms that where expected and the limited time we had we decided that it was not worth the trip. Thinking about Koh Samui we had our minds set for an island, but Thailand has so many islands which for the average tourist look all beautiful.

Due to the limited time we had, just 3 days (maybe 4), we looked closer to Bangkok. First we where thinking about Koh Lanta, but then it is really near Pattaya. And for the people who not know about Pattaya, I will say look it up in a search engine.
